I have been concerned about them being wood because I don't want them to break down over time which I know wood can. So I used it on them to help protect the wood. Works great and easy to use.

We started with a roller ,but my husband switched to a sprayer which worked faster and the deck was stained evenly. We love the outcome of it and sincerely do recommend using this wood protector.
