I really researched tension gates as we didn't want to drill into the wood trim to install. Many had terrible ratings. This gate looks good, is sturdy and easy to operate. The directions could have been a bit more explicit but we figured it out. We are using this as a pet gate and our dog has not been able to open it like our old barrier. The price was much less than a lot of the competition.
