Great for training, Walmart had best price online
These gloves are specifically designed for training (heavy bag work, focus mitts, etc.). I would not recommend them if you are doing a lot of sparring, but they would work in a pinch. Breath-able material on the inside of the hands is nice. As far as sizing, I am 6 ft tall and weigh about 205. The 16 oz gloves fit me perfectly. If you are significantly larger than myself, then you should try them on first before purchase. Overall, great product.
