It's a really nice station for my heavy bag. The only problem is that it is too tall for the space, so I unfortunately will have to return it. But the product itself is great, and I wish it fit!

Sturdy, well made stand for your heavy bag.

The stand is made from a good weight metal tubing, that is painted black. The stand was not difficult to put together, and has good instructions for it's construction. The metal pipes are of a good weight, they are heavy enough to be very sturdy, but light enough to work with while building the stand. When constructed, the stand is 7 1/2 feet, or 90" tall. 4 feet, or 48" wide at base side to side. 5 feet, or 60" front to back at the base. The base has pegs that are padded, where you can put weights to help hold the stand sturdy while using it. I found for me, a 5'2" older woman, I did not need to put weights on the stand. I am using the stand for hand, arm and kicking strikes. I am not that strong, so there really is not much risk of the stand tipping. The pegs on the bottom, that are padded, are padded with a very dense foam, that even in bare feet, walking into the peg does not hurt at all. The stand needs to be in a room with a pretty high ceiling, and have pretty good space around it, but that is expected in an item of this nature. I think it would be best to build the stand where you want to be using it, as it is not the easiest thing to move around, but it can be moved.

Does the job

My only criticism is the 200 plus pounds of dead weight required to stabilize the stand. If you were to use weight plates as recommended it would cost you over 200 dollars which is of course more than the bag and stand cost. I used 70lb sandbags, one on each leg. Cost me 12 dollars.
