I was looking for a modern pot with a heavy stone look but without the actual weight and expense. The item arrived as described. It has a pre-drilled drainage hole, providing one less step. It's hollow all the way down to the bottom, so I filled it half full with empty plastic water bottles, covered with a permeable barrier that won't allow soil to drain out, and then added my plant and extra potting soil. Actually, I bought this tall outside planter to use indoors as a vessel for storing part of my husband's cane collection. It is working out well.
