This was perfect for my 10K BTU Air Conditioner. i like that the end has a light on it, so it's easy to find and adds a little night light. I ordered another for my other air conditioner that is too far from the outlet. The plug doesn't get hot either. I would highly recommend this item. I do wonder why the 6-foot extension was more than the 10-foot extension. either way, I would purchase again.
