I have been through endless poor quality dog beds for my wonderful German Shepherd, who is now aging and slowing down. The beds are always filled with very poor quality polyester which falls apart quickly and stops providing comfort or support, and the inner linings are not water proof and not washable, so--you know--yuck! After looking for HD foam dog beds online, and finding that anything halfway decent runs $150 plus, and is STILL not really waterproof or washable, it occurred to me to check out port-a-crib mattresses, and this one fits my girl's extra large cage pretty well--better than any of those old poofy things--gives her great support, and is WATERPROOF and WASHABLE!!! I love to find outside-the-box solutions, and this is a great one. $27, my dog is happy, and I am happy. Portacrib sheets and pads fit it, and it's also easy to sew up something that fits in a few minutes if I want something sturdier to cover it. And, It was very convenient picking it up at my local store.

Looks like a great pack n play mattress. Fits slug lengthwise, but it may have a small gap for the width. My daughter is 6 months and will be mainly using it for playtime and supervised naps, so I am not worried about the gap. Read some reviews elsewhere that said the paper ripped the mattress when they removed it. The paper was not attached to my mattress and the manufatured date on my mattress tag was Aug. 2020.
