I use these to cover dog beds for a medium dog to keep from having to frequently launder dog bed covers. Have also used the larger size on a large dog bed to manage canine skin issues better. Not the intended use, but it works great for canines as well as for humans. And no, I do NOT consider my dog the same as a child. I just like to spend less time doing laundry and more time doing fun stuff. : )
