Bought this book for my boyfriend. For starters it was much cheaper than buying on Amazon and in stores. Delivery was very quick. So far, the book is very good and it is recommended for a good read.

Great follow up to The Shining.

Like most books, there is definitely more in the book, than in the movie. Definitely recommend reading The Shining and then reading Doctor Sleep, if you haven't read The Shining, yet, since the movies differ from the books. I love both books. I read Doctor Sleep on my tablet, when it first came out. But I definitely prefer having the book. And you can't beat a good Hardcover book for only $13.

Best Stephen King book in years

This book tells the story of what happened to little Danny Torrence from the Shining. I don't want to spoil the book so I will just say that the characters felt much more complete and real possibly because King "lived" with Danny for so long. I hate to use a cliche but it gave closure to the Shining. I just finished it, when I got close to the end I left the book to sit for days unwilling to let it end. Now I think I'll reread it.
