    Beautiful and sturdy

    I bought this item with some apprehension due to the fact that I could find exactly zero reviews for it anywhere else online, HOWEVER! I was more than pleasantly surprised to find that it has proven itself to be both beautiful and sturdy! It took me about 2.5 hours to put together, but keep in mind I am just one small, college-age woman, with little knowledge of tools and assembling. So my point is, it was easy even for me, and I had no idea what I was doing. The light-colored, almost stone-washed look of the wood on the desk top and legs, and the stark white drawers look very nice, and fit the sort of "minimalist"/"industrial"/"mid-century" combination look I was going for. I actually wasn't even planning on getting a desk until I saw this one, and then I was immediately enamored, HA! I would highly recommend this item; the directions are very straight forward, and it is an item I hope to keep for a very long time. This item could EASILY be priced for twice what Sam's is charging, but I'm glad it's not priced that much because it makes it a really good and accessible option for a college student.

    We love our corner desk. It was easy to put together, if a little involved, there were a lot of parts. It looks beautiful and is sturdy. Very nice for the price!

    Excellent purchase!

    I am very happy with this desk. Given the other reviews, I was a bit concerned that the instructions would be hard to follow, but my 12 year old daughter and I assembled the desk with the included instructions in less than 2 hours. This is the fourth piece of furniture I have assembled. The pieces are very sturdy, the desk is large and is great quality. Sam's price was much less expensive than other retailers, had free shipping (Plus membership) and arrived almost a week earlier than indicated. This desk is for my 12 year old daughter who will use it as a vanity and desk. The drawers, storage and U shape, modern style and colors were exactly what we were looking for in a desk. Tvilum has other bedroom pieces that match and can be ordered on line as well. Highly recommend.
