This grinds so much faster and easier than those disposable things. I know it costs a bit but worth it. I hear the disposable ones get plastic in your food as much as a credit card's worth in like a week. That's supposed to be bad for your health leading to heart attacks and strokes. This grinder, however, has steel parts I think it is so no plastic. It came with a fine setting for me and that's fine, so much quicker than those disposable ones, really amazing. It looks pretty nice too if you're into that.

Purchased these based on the recommendation from America's Test Kitchen. I love the look and ease of adjusting from fine to course grind. You can feel the quality in how smooth they grind. The only thing I'd change, is to add a small, matching tray to set them on, or covers to put on them to catch any loose grinds & keep the mess off the counter. I would definitely purchase again
