Crap design

It's too small to accommodate a full roll of toilet paper. The roll I tried on there isn't even a full roll. The roll is pressed against the wall, binding the roll of tissue when you try to draw it out. What a blatantly obvious design flaw! I already installed all of the other matching hardware and now I either have to replace all of them or make some sort of mount that doesn't look ridiculous. Just the most stupifyingly stupid design. How hard is it to engineer a functioning toilet paper holder? I can't even adjust the angle of the bar to extend it further from the wall because the attaching bolt threads through the arm at a fixed 90⁰ angle.
