This thing is awesome!!!!
I knew my husband would like the concept of this, but I was worried he wouldn't like the technology involved. Man was I wrong. He absolutely LOVES this! He downloaded the app and headed straight for our pond. He had it figured out in no time. It shows the depth of our pond, the water temperature, the contour of the bottom, and fish! It even shows size variations of the fish and how deep they are!! He loves that he can throw it on on a line anywhere in our pond without having to get in the boat. He plans to map out the pond this weekend. If you're in doubt, get it! I attached a screenshot of the app to show what it looks like.

Compact and easy to travel with
Small sonar device but packs a bunch. Has numerous options to incorporate into your fishing adventure. Has great casting and depth range— so far never needed more. The built in gps is amazing and easily hooks up to your phone. The app also has additional functionality that I didnt even know I wanted. Like weather forecast, ability to take notes, and keeps a log of your history
