DeMarini Spectre Backpack

Just received this bag for my 17yr old. It has everything he need for a season of baseball. great features with the valuables pouch, insulated pouch for drinks/food, double shelf for 2 gloves, and the batting glove pouch is convenient also. I just hope it holds up.

I like the big compartment but not ideal for shoes. You have to open the whole front to access the bottom and if you gloves on top it's not easy. I do like the thermal part and the felt pocket in front. I added my own D rings to one side so I could use carabiners to hook either bigger water bottles or my shoes so that the inside of my bag doesn't get too dirty. It would have been a nice add if it came already on there or even some D rings on the shoulder straps. Take some features you may find from hiking bags where you can easily access some things. I also added some velcro felt to the outside so I could hang my batting gloves. I do wish there were some inside netting similar to the previous version. It's nice to have extra pockets. Overall, it works for what I need and that's an alternative to always carrying my roller bag to games.
