the fabric is so soft and super stretchy. I am about 43 hip, 35 waist and I wish I got the Large instead of XL. I could pull the waistband up to my chest they are so stretchy and the leg is too long but I am going to add elastic to the ankle and they will be perfect. Even with the too big size, they don't feel like they are sliding down or anything and just drape comfortably.
