I bought it to use as an extra TV speaker for when my mother comes to visit because she has hearing issues. I set the speaker closer to her and she hears it very well. The sound is clear and powerful. I've tried a number of different speakers for her and nothing comes close to this one. It is very easy to work. The Bluetooth works great. I highly recommend it.
