The Rico Double Reed case holds five of any size double reeds, including oboe and bassoon reeds. This case is the only one of its kind to work with the Reed Vitalizer Automatic Humidity Control System, which keeps the airtight case at 73% humidity. Reeds will be ready to play with minimal wetting, and they lie flat on a grooved surface to keep them stable, even in various climates. If used and properly cared for, reeds will last longer and play better than if kept in the cases they came in. Once the pack becomes hard (typically after 45-60 days), discard and replace to maintain the humidity in the case.
