Wonderful but truthful review.

This item is not very safe in the microwave. You can heat up food in the microwave with it but it melts it slightly and you will probably being consuming whatever else is in that plastic with your food. Although that may be a small amount, it's not worth it. It is WONDERFUL for storage however after washing it many times the lids break down and crack. These are inexpensive so we just buy more as needed. It is wonderful for leftovers and is used all the time.

Well it's Tupperware. Snaps close well and stays closed. Keeps my left overs safe in the fridge until they mold because I forgot about them and then throw the Tupperware away. Keep these things in me cabinet due to throwing away left overs. And yes I meant to say me and not my.
