There was nothing to dislike, I never heard of this brand before but it seems to work pretty good, the first thing I tested it on was boiling eggs, this thing works the same as my kitchen stove, and my stove is electric, so so far it's great, I got this item in case the stove breaks,

heats up very quickly and your food cooks in a record amount of time! The eyes are a bit slippery, but i have cooked on a glass stove before so I was expecting it to be slick. The size of the eyes ( burners) on the stove is plenty big enough so that you do not have to worry about your bigger pots and pans hanging of of the edge. I cooked Spagetti noodles in under 4 min. from raw to fully cooked on this stove using med heat! Meats also cook quickly as well. the control knobs are easy to turn as well. you only have to use your finger tips to turn them. while it used to take me up to 30 to 45 min to prepare a meal, now it takes me around 10 to 20 min, depending on what I am cooking. The burners are split into 900 watts each and the unit cools down to stone cold in around 30 min when you turn it off and unplug it. Another thing that I really like is the airflow around the unit itself as it does stand above the surface of the countertop on legs, and it has air vents on each left and right sides of the cooking surface. Yes , there was a slight smell when I first used it but it went away. The instructions tell you that this is normal. The protective stickers that were on the burners when unpacked the unit were easy to peel off, as well. Very well satisfied.
