Good painting tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very efficient item. Save time in painting. What would take a half a day took a couple of hours. Was easy to use and clean. Worth the price. Not big and easy to carry. Great for indoor or outdoors.

Great size for normal household projects

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whether you're painting a garage door, chicken coop, or a bedroom, this product is a great size. The other airless sprayer that I've used was designed around a 5 gallon bucket, so the hose was much longer, more paint was held in the hose, and the gun was a bit heavier. I remember getting a little bit tired holding the spray gun up when doing a single and a double garage door. On this project, I was spraying a single garage door and a chicken coop/shed for a friend of mine. He only had a bit more than half a gallon, so we got 2-1/2 sides of the chicken coop. Taped off the brick around the garage door, and taped off a few things on the chicken coop, then went to spraying. The garage door had previously been done by hand, so this was just a second coat for the door. I started as I always do - with water, to make sure the unit functions, but also to help clean out any debris left over from manufacturing or the packaging material (cardboard dust). Got the unit primed, then switched over to spraying, and ran it for a little bit. Also had to let the hose warm up some in the sunlight as it's rather stiff when you first pull it out and it's coiled up tight. Once that was over, dumped out the water, and poured in the paint. Then I put the cover on, primed the pump, switched over to spraying, then sprayed all the water out of the line into a discharge bucket. Once that was done, went to spraying the garage door. A few minutes later we moved to the back yard and did the chicken coop. Cleanup was a breeze. Rinse out the hopper with a garden hose until all of the paint is gone, then run the primer with water until it runs clear, then switch over to spray and spray until clear water runs out. After that, clean off the gun itself. Then drain everything and put it all away. I got to my friend's house at 8 AM. We were all finished and cleaned up when I left at 9:30 AM. It was a good use of part of a Saturday morning.
