Conair Extreme Steam 1875W Pro Steam Iron, Model GI300

I received the Conair Extreme Stream iron. Right out of the package this is a quality iron that is heavy duty! The plastics on this thing are heavy and the gold plate is nice! One interesting feature is the self cleaning feature of this iron. I have never seen an iron with that but makes sense because sometimes they can get calcium build up! It says clean every 10-15 days however I don't use an iron that much to clean it that often honestly. But the clean feature was not hard at all. I also enjoy the steam dial of this. You can crank up the steam to high on this unit but also turn it completely off. I also use an iron frequently in my crafts so I use the steam off more than steam on, so the turn off completely of the steam also appealed to me. According to what setting you use it also has a temperature ready light. I really like this feature also because you know when you are ready to go. My old iron you just had to guess. It also has many different heat settings for almost anything. I like that you can fill with regular tap water instead of buying some type of distilled water and having to store it. The gold plate as an iron is very nice! Quality iron, and a lot heavier than my old one with higher quality parts than a cheap plastic one.
