I gained a little weight in my waistline so this 2X is a coat that fits perfectly all around. I can zip it up AND sit down without discomfort. It is perfect for cold weather. The hood is bigger than normal which is a plus. The fur is supper cute as well...

Longer length to keep the tops of your legs warm; roomy front patch pockets; zippered security pocket with easy access and large enough to hold cell phone, drivers license etc; a roomy hood (adjustable for your head size and whether or not you're wearing a hat); fur trim on hood is plush and generous and does an excellent job of blocking the wind. I went with collegiate navy which has a bit of a denim vibe to it which is attractive. I usually wear an XL in Columbia coats but this one has a generous cut (even with being rated “active fit”) and an L fit perfectly.
