Not all tents even need this but when its pouring outside you will have comfort knowing you and your family will be dry inside. Cheap insurance you will be happy to have this in you camp gear wait until it rains and you have to dry everything then you will use your back up I promise.

Treated a new tent. Very easy to apply and visible when applied, so hopefully seal will be effective. One is plenty for even large jobs (tents). I sealed every possible area on a 2 person tent and fly, and have 80% of the bottle left.

This sealer came with a spongy bottle top, very easy to apply. I bought a 3-person tent, after applying the sealer to every seam of the tent, it still has more than half left in the bottle. Will last longer. So far haven't tried out the sealed tent in the rain yet, hope it works.
