Claussen Kosher Dill Pickle Halves, 32 fl. oz. Jar

These are the only Claussen pickles that still taste good and are mostly crisp. They do usually have a couple in each jar that is not crisp and rather soggy and gross but at least most taste good and are crispy rather than the others such as the spears that have horrible tough skin and a weird chemical taste to them. Something has definitely changed with Claussen pickles. They have gone down hill over the years and yet cost SO much .

I've always enjoyed this brand of pickles and don't normally have a bad experience with them. I haven't bought them for a while because the price has gone up quite a bit. Today, I opened my jar of pickle halves to find only six in the jar. I paid well over seven dollars for the jar… for six pickle halves?? That's only three whole pickles. I might have to get used to eating less expensive pickles, these are good but not worth more than a dollar for half of a pickle. Totally bummed.
