At first I was disappointed because it came with part of the assembly instructions missing. I contacted Walmart Chat and they called me and while on the phone they contacted the seller by email and within the early morning hours the manual was emailed to me and was even easier to read since I could open the contents on my laptop with much clearer illustrations. It still took us nearly a full 8 hours to assemble by the 2 of us my wife and I. We are in our 70's so it was not light work but we did it. You must follow EXACTLY the instructions and you will be successful. The response by Walmart and the seller was surprisingly fast and courteous. It seems well made. The only complaint is that when it is in the upright position it does not completely close so I bought 2 spring loaded latches and installed them . They are white in color like the bed frame so they match perfectly. I also modified the support legs with larger diameter bolts (3/8 inch carriage bolts) instead of the 1/4 inch bolts that come with it. It was not hard to do and they look fine. I am a retired heavy equipment mechanic and have all kinds of tools so we were able to do some of the mods easily but I will say it is not for the inexperienced ones to attempt this especially when it comes to the steps to FIRMLY ANCHOR THE BED TO THE WALL !!!! It takes good planning and although my wife and I did this it would be very difficult or nearly impossible for 2 people especially older ones to attempt this step and could be dangerous.Thats why the instructions say it takes 4 adults or you have the option of paying for someone to assemble it.
