Cushioning, cushioning and ankle high

I buy hubby new socks about every six months. He's on his feet all day on concrete. Our climate is hot and humid. So these socks with the great cushioning and only ankle high are great for work. He wears really good leather Goodyear welted shoes and the combination makes a difference.

Super Thick Bottoms - Very Comfortable

People seem to be having differing experiences with these socks, including the thickness... I found the bottoms (gray portions) of the socks to be SUPER thick (almost TOO thick), but they have been very comfortable. One possible explanation for these variances may be inconsistencies between manufacturing locations. The web site states "Country of Origin: El Salvador and 51% Cotton, 48% Polyester, 1% Spandex" while the ones I received were made in Pakistan with the contents listed as 76% cotton, 22% polyester, 1% nylon and 1% spandex (although they don't feel quite as "cottony" as socks did for me in the past), and these contents are on a sticker, not part of the actual label verbiage.
