We love these! My husband has a lot of physical handicaps and therefore can't toss the regular iron horseshoes which are heavy, but these are lighter and he can handle these just fine. Now we can play a game of horseshoes, this is great for us! Another bonus is they don't make that LOUD clanking sound when they hit.

Great fun for the young ones

I wasn't sure the 5, 6, and 8 year old grandchildren would want to bother playing the but the seven of them really enjoyed the game. The round mats made it easy to adjust the distance between post for the different ages. I stayed with the children and helped with scoring and the basic rules; they caught on fast and played many games during our camp outing. The horse shoes are a quality solid plastic. The matted pegs are solid as well. The red plastic pegs are hollow and the only failure about the set; I wouldn't use them. Truth be told several adults got into matches as well.
