Warm and water resistant.. not 100% water proof .
i got mine today. tested .. my hand is large.. but XL fits better.. 1)hold hands under a cold water tap..Yes-hands dry and warm..i didnt feel cold or wet. 2)dipped hands in a bucket of cold water.. Hands WET..even though i didnt feel the cold as much as the water was..Any way once the gloves are wet..it needs to be dried out and serves no good. may be good for fishing in Rain.. I am thinking about "Scotchgard" or "Rust-Oleum's NeverWet" to make it H2O Proof But Then i should be able to make any gloves water proof.

Not waterproof, but met my needs
I bought these gloves as a cheaper alternative than scuba gloves for kayaking in winter. They have a good grip and fit well. However, they are not waterproof or even highly water resistant. They kept my hands warm on a 1 hour paddle in 45 dfree F weather. They are NOT suitable for continuous exposure to cold (below 60 degree F) water. By for $10, what do you expect?

Nice gloves for the price
Received my gloves sooner that I expected. The gloves did fit a bit tight, however I think they will do. Gloves feel good and will be using them while kayaking and fishing this winter.
