Instructions
The baby’s health depends on carefully following the instructions below. Use only as directed by a medical professional. Proper hygiene, preparation, dilution, use and storage are important when preparing infant formula. Powdered infant formulas are not sterile and should not be fed to premature infants or infants who might have immune problems unless directed and supervised by a doctor. Discuss with the doctor which formula is appropriate for the baby.Discuss with your baby's doctor whether you need to use cooled, boiled water for mixing and whether they need to boil clean utensils, bottles and nipples in water before use.1) Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water before preparing formula.2) Pour the desired amount of water into the bottle. Add powder.3) Cap bottle and SHAKE WELL.Use the charts on the product label for correct amounts of water and powder. Use scoop in can to measure powder. Store DRY scoop in its original can.

To make* 2 fl. oz. bottle: 2 fl. oz. water, 1 packed level scoop; 4 fl. oz. bottle: 4 fl. oz. water, 2 packed level scoops; 8 fl. oz. bottle: 8 fl. oz. water, 4 packed level scoops. *Each scoop adds about 0.2 fl. oz. to the amount of prepared formula. Failure to follow these instructions could result in severe harm. Once Prepared, infant formula can spoil quickly. Either feed immediately or cover and store in refrigerator at 35-40F (2-4C) for no longer than 24 hours. Do not use prepared formula if it is unrefrigerated for more than a total of 2 hours. Do not freeze prepared formula. After feeding begins, use formula within 1 hour or discard.

My baby was not gaining weight after birth on any formula and he was having continuous diarrhea. We were so worried as he was getting weaker and was not able to latch. Those were the most difficult days of my life as my baby is very precious. I had my sweet precious boy after 5 miscarriages. He was born with spina bifida and we though diarrhea could be because of this underlying condition. Finally doctors sent his stool for fat content test and it came back positive. Doctors started him on progestimil and he started gaining few grams everyday. I'm so thankful for this formula, can't emphasize how much. We are back home from hospital and he is active and growing every day. :)

Thankful for this formula for my child who has liver disease. It's easier to absorb and has added mct oil for fat. It's recommended by his gastroenterologist to help optimize his nutrition. It was an easy transition from breastfeeding to combining formula and breast milk. Thank you enfamil for keeping babies in mind who have special needs!
