You can't go wrong with Cover Girl

This has been my go-to shade for 20yrs. Before the internet went crazy over contouring Cover Girl was already on the scene with their products. It is not too orange, not too brown. The price is great and you can blend to lighten it or add more easily and it lasts (at least it does for me) This triple set comes in other shades. Check them out!
