I'm a frequent ironer, so I ordered this iron and a steamer to compare. The steamer did not even compare. Took me longer to user the steamer iron than the CHI iron. The CHI iron, heats up fast, puts out great steam, has the easy automatic cord, different settings and its 1700 Watts. I can't say enough . Highly recommend.

I've never bought an iron this expensive so hopefully it will last a while to justify the price. The overall look and feel of the iron is pretty nice. Some reviews said it was heavy but I actually don't think it is. A little skeptical on the retractable cord feature actually lasting but for the time being it's actually a nice feature.

I purchased this iron yesterday and used it for the first time the very next day. First thing I noticed was that one pass over my uniforms was all it took to get the wrinkles out. I experienced no leaks. Also, the iron is heavy unlike the cheaper $10 iron I was using before that would always fall over.
