No Lather, But Great Results!

I struggled with whether to provide a 4 or 5 star review. Since ultimately my only complaint is a result of me being accustomed to shampoos that lather and not with the excellent end result, I settled on 5. We have hard well water with minerals that cling to my hair and leave a waxy residue. Shampoos formulated for hard water have been harsh on my hair, leaving it dull and brittle. I first tried Good Stuff repair balm and loved it, so took a shot on the shampoo. Some reviewers complained about the strong smell. I'm usually sensitive to odors but found it far less fragrant than most other shampoos. My biggest challenge is that I'm accustomed to a shampoo lathering up. At first I thought it wasn't working, but after rinsing I could tell my hair was clean, and even felt free of the mineral residue. The hardest thing is to avoid the temptation to use a large amount since it doesn't lather well. The normal amount, massaged through the hair works just fine. After a month topping it off with Good Stuff leave-in balm or conditioners, my hair is regaining its former shine and body. Great product; I highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Who made this stuff!??? I cant believe I finally found the PERFECT shampoo for my fine curly hair! I never thought Id see the day! Im so so happy. The good stuff shampoo is light, airy, and cleans my hair so wonderfully without weighing it down. Talk about volume! Probably for the first time in my life - from just shampoo. I can only imagine how itll be with some some mousse added to it. Va va voom! Thank you SO much for giving me my new holy grail! This wont be just some other shampoo that sits in the back of my shower tower.. its getting frequent love. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I do use shampoo, I try to keep it to a minimum because it often dries out my hair (curly, dry, fine). Im always willing to try a new shampoo though, so Im glad that Influenster sent me this complimentary bottle to try (all thoughts are still my own). My hair felt very clean afterwards, but didnt feel dry and didnt have any leftover residue. Its sulfate-free, which helps! It has a great scent (very clean, beach smell), but it wasnt overwhelming. You also cannot beat the price and that is easily accessible at Target. Not to mention, the packaging is so nice! It looks higher end and modern, which I love. Im excited to use it more!
