Delta Arabella Single Handle One Handle Bronze Pull Out Kitchen Fauce

The color of this faucet is perfect with the black granite sink. When swiveling the faucet neck left/right, it's extremely smooth and feels natural. It takes very little effort to move it and when pulling down the retractable sprayer from the faucet neck it makes you want to do more dishes since it's fun. The toggle switch on the sprayer is smooth and the shape of the head fits very well in anyone's hand making it comfortable to use. The weight on the line that helps pull this magnetic head back into place is perfect and makes putting it back together very easy when done spraying. Even the soap dispenser is push friendly and operators with ease. You'd be crazy to not buy one of these for your home. Just my opinion. :-)

I helped a friend install a similar Delta faucet at my house 3 years ago. When my mother needed a new faucet, everyone recommended I stick with Delta. I was not able to find the unit I have, but found this Arabella (model 19950 SSD-DST) Pull Down Kitchen Faucet instead. I watched some youtube videos on how to install a kitchen faucet. I read and re-read the paper instruction that came with the faucet. I took a deep breath and started the project. I made one mistake by putting on backwards the u-shaped washer that holds the faucet tight onto the sink. I realized it after I couldn't get the faucet to tighten on. By then the nut was on too tight and it took me a couple of attempts to unscrew it. But besides that, everything was pretty simple. It takes a little getting used to having the handle on the side, but you get used to it pretty quickly. I love how the pull down hose works. Easy to pull down and to change between stream and spray. And the magnet pulls it back into place with no problem. So much better than those old sidespray hose attachments. The one thing that wasn't mentioned in the paper instruction was a black clamp like thing that was attached to the plex piping. It said "cut here to remove". I finally had to email Delta to find out what it was (an anti-theft device), but I had already installed the faucet and decided to just leave it on rather than try to cut it off. It took me about 2 hours to install, but mostly because I was being extra careful and taking breaks often to re-read the instructions. We have only been using this faucet for about 3 weeks, but anticipate that we will continue to be happy well into the future.
