(Open Box) TCL 49" 4-Series 1080P LED Television, 49D100

We had the TV shipped to our local store. Came within a week and manufacturer packed it very well. Initial set up was easy. Just plugged in same cables as our old one. Surprised to find 3 HDMI inputs and a pair of RCA outputs for my sound system. It is not a smart TV, but can be made one by adding a 3rd party HDMI dongle, like Chromecast. Haven't done that yet, as we get Netflix through the computer instead. That left the 3rd HDMI input for our Blu-ray, which gives an awesome picture quality, even with action scenes. We don't have cable or satellite but our over-the-air antenna works well attached to the coax input. With a good signal, the picture is strong and vibrant on the HD stations we get. Our computer is hooked up via HDMI-1 port. Hint: computer should detect the 1920 X 1080 screen resolution. Default is 16:9 ratio. If your desktop screen is not centered, use the TV remote, press MENU, go to PICTURE > Advanced > and select: PointToPoint. That will get it in bounds. I found the color fine. I did lower the Backlight to 60 in USER mode to make it less vibrant and more natural for my taste. Very pleased with this purchase experience and the TV.
