The remote battery were already installed. The bower -12 it self has 3 lighting yellow, white bright lighting I'm okay with it. I have made nice video and also used to look for something in my room instead of turning on my house lights it very sturdy, and adjustable it's all about taking care of your bower-12 it will last a long time .
