Best investment for my home gym besides weights

Love this. I went from doing pull-ups in a door frame to this. Extremely stable, easy to adjust. Buy it before steel prices keep going up. Took a bit of time to assemble as they do not separate all the different bolt sizes and throw them all in one bag. No big deal. In all, this rack is awesome for the price point. Cheap and fast shipping.

my first Power Cage

Deliverd in 3 boxes, generally all the same weight. Packed well. As long as you keep track of the 4 different size bolts, assembly with jsut the picture is straight forewar. I'm no handyman, an redid certain parts because it would "fit" but the holes were facing the wrong way - i.e. just pay attention. As long as you keep weight on the j-hooks it's stable to hold for pull ups. It's not as deep as I envisioned, but that's my fault. Anyway, I'm 6' 3" 270 lbs and can squat and deadlift just find. It's too low to overhead press on the insie, but the safety bars allow for you to place a bar on the outside as well. I use a 6' Standard bar that just fits. Inside I use 7' Olympic bar. I called an they said it's good for 600 lbs - way more than I'll ever squat or bench, especially. The bars and hooks are quick to change and alot of options (holes), I stick a board under bench because I'm between a couple ideally; but you can't expect holes everywhere (every 2" I think) The price was right and it has what I need. I am strongly considering the lat pulldown attachment down the road.

great deal for the money

the instructions are not straight forward. actually, it is just one exploded picture of the rack. the weight limit on it is 300kg (~660lbs). it is a good rack for home use. the big plus is the price over anything else. most of the ones I could fine were $330+ on the net and got this one for ~$260 with free shipping.
