Worked Well for a First Try

I am a desperate mom of gf kids, not a great cook or baker (I took note of previous reviews to be aware of issues to look for) but I am giving 5 stars because if it was easy enough for me, most people should be able to be successful. I didn't notice a huge rise in the dough even though I followed instructions and made sure to have the dough rest near the warm stove. Next time, I will definitely roll the dough out much thinner and make 3 or 4 pizzas. An 11 or 12 inch pizza was pretty dense. Also, adding some salt/seasoning and maybe oiling the top of the dough for the initial bake may be good tweaks. In general, this mix makes a basic base that was not sweet like most pre-made crusts are and can probably be improved to personal taste easily.

I baked 1/2 recipe in a cast iron skillet for 10 minutes at 425. Removed from oven, added toppings and baked for 18 minutes. My husbanded raved about how delicious it was. Crust was crispy. The dough had been in the freezer for 2 months. After it thawed, I pressed in skillet with about 1 inch up the sides and let it raise for 1 hour.

Love It!

I have made homemade pizza for my family for years. When my adult son developed a wheat allergy, I tried Bob's pizza crust mix. Now we can once again enjoy pizza when we get together. My beginner-cook son also uses Bob's mix to make pizza for himself. Thank you for an excellent product!
