First Alert 0.3 Cubic Ft. Steel Security Box with Electronic Lock, 3035DF

Well pleased with the Digital Locking Steel Box and like that it can be opened either with a key or digital lock (batteries were included). This was initially purchased as security for a gun and it still has plenty of room to store other items. The bottom of the box is lined with a foam cushion, my only suggestion would be the the sides would be lined as well. Great quality and well worth the money.

I had purchased one identical to this one for my Grandson for when he went away to college to keep his money, checkbook, passport, important papers, etc. in. He kept it in the cardboard box it came in as well so it was well hidden from all while at school. He had it for over 6 years until a pin for the combination came dislodged and neither the combination or the key would work to open it. He had to break the box open to get his things out which was not easy to do. He liked it so much we decided to get him another one at his request. He is living with four other roommates in an apartment and there are always people coming and going that he doesn't know that well so he feels more secure with this. Excellent value!
