I bought the 100% blackout curtains for the windows facing direct sunlight, and I bought THESE for the same room on the windows that don't have direct sunlight. They make the room dark enough for nighttime, but still have a little bit of sheer in day time. They match the BHG 100% blackout curtains, but it was a way to save a few bucks. These have a silver lining and the 100% blackout curtains have a thicker white lining. I got the soft silver. Great buy, very classy. Very pleased with these after a long long search trying to find something I like.

The texture of the curtains is a little unusual, but I like it. It is soft and smooth and the curtains hang nicely. The room darkening is a little bit less than what I expected because it was rated at the darkest level, but it works well for our home.
