Better Homes & Gardens Glass 1.5 gal Leak Proof Beverage Dispenser

I'm tryingto get away from plastic and this is a great glass water container. It fits perfectly in the fridge and the weight when full is manageable. I'm a senior so I didn't want it to be too heavy I can handle this. The spout seems sturdy and this is easy to fill

I previously purchased this beverage dispenser and liked it so much that I decided to order another one. However, the dispenser that I just ordered and received was just a little bit damaged. Someone in the shipping department decided that it would be a good idea to ship the glass dispenser and six 29-ounce cans of tomato puree in the same box--with only some deflated bubble wrap as padding. Needless to say, the dispenser took the brunt of the damage; one single can of puree had significant damage so it was likely the offender. All I can say is, "Who in the world would ever think that it was a good idea to ship one little glass dispenser, with very little protection, along with six heavy weights?"
