I prefer pool shoes to slippers any day , they don't slide off and they have better grip when walking. Because they are stretchy, they always hold my foot in place. Once they are washed, they snap back in shape. I have one leg shorter than other and have to have a lift extender slipped over the pool shoe. The High grip of the shoe makes it easier to walk safely. The grip is so tight even with the extender I have no slipping or ankle roiling. and the extender on the outside never slips off or rotates as I walk. They are so light weight I feel like I am walking barefoot but better. For someone with foot issues these are so helpful for safety and feel wonderful. I bought three pair because I use them in the shower. Better grip than a tub mat and easer to clean. I will admit they take a little longer than I expected to dry.
