I use it mostly for pasta salad tossed with Italian vinaigrette. It takes on the flavors of the vinaigrette really well and tastes good cold.

This 12oz bag is my go too for quick dinner ideas. The Tortellini's have good flavor and yes! You can taste the cheese. It can easily feed and fill my family of 4. Pasta keeps its shape after boiling- if you over cook, Cheese Tortellini will start to break. 2 bags can feed up 6-8 people. Definitely recommend.
