Life saver for post op
OMG, this stuff saved my life when I first had my gastric bypass surgery. I was on liquids for two weeks I could not tolerate ethe protein shakes so I turned to this stuff and I am convinced that this is the reason I am still here today and able to write this review, hahaha.

BariatricPal Protein Soup - Chicken Bouillon
I'm really happy with this soup. It's delicious and flavorful. I plan on ordering more. It was especially helpful to have the 1st week post-op when I was on clear liquids only. It provided protein to my daily nutrition, and a little something warm in my tummy. I actually mixed it with 6 oz water, and then added 8oz of organic vegetable broth. That made a nice little bit of broth that provided me with 3 meals. (Keeping in mind the 1st week I was only having about 4 oz of liquid at one time)

Chicken Broth is great straight - or in recipes!
I've been using the Bariatric Pal Chicken broth for several years. Great just for a hot drink option that provides protein for small cals. And also an add in to various soups and recipes I make that use chicken based flavoring...again, adds some extra needed protein, some fuller flavor w/ minimal add of cals. Give it a try!
