Feels like we got a new mattress!

This pillow top mattress has a soft cover that feels like fleece on one side and silk on the other. The pillow top box stitching is end to end which will help to keep the filling from shifting. The cover is large! It fits easily over a 14 inch mattress with room for deeper sizes. I was worried since the cover fit loosely that it would slip during the night but it stayed put. The word plush is not an exaggeration. This is an overfilled plush cover. This is machine washable. LOVE IT! It feels like we got a new mattress! This is the best mattress pad I have ever purchased or received. I highly recommend.

Helps soften a mattress

When Walmart offered this Bare Home branded Pillow-Top Premium Mattress Pad through their Spark Review program, I immediately thought of my guest bed. Since it is a relatively new mattress and is very firm, I've had some of my guests mention just how hard it was. So I jumped on the opportunity to give the mattress a softer coverup. When the pad arrived in a vac-pack, it looked too small but once I opened the bag it filled right out. I was very pleased not to notice any factory (chemical) smells, so I popped it right on the bed. The first thing I noticed was the soft velvety feel the micro-plush cover has. The pad fits very well over the 14 inch mattress with plenty of room for larger ones. The cover has a simple box stitching that prevents the stuffing from shifting around too much and is even reversible. Washing instructions say to wash in cold water and tumble dry on low heat. I haven't washed it yet but think it should be fine. Now that I have company arriving for the holidays, I've gotten compliments as to how well they slept. I absolutely recommend this cover, even if it is for your peace of mind for your guests.

SUPER Soft; Thick; Comfortable

I received this item free to write a review. This pillow top Mattress pad is SUPER SOFT. The top is that thick velvety type. I almost didn't want to put a sheet over it because it was just soo soft and smooth. The sides and corners are larger to accommodate if you have an "XL" type mattress, yet not too big if you don't. So it fit perfectly on my daughter's Twin XL mattress. It adds so much comfort. If you have an older mattress with some lumps, this could help a lot to alleviate any dips you may have. Although the top of the pad is fairly thick, because the sides and corners are much thinner I didn't have any trouble putting the fitted sheet over the mattress pad. My daughter loves the comfort of the pad and I fully intend to get one for my mattress now and my guest bedroom. I haven't had to wash this item yet, but it is recommended for delicate wash and low heat dryer so nothing complicated at all. Overall, HIGHLY recommend! You won't be sorry!
