Bought for my dad who just moved to skilled nursing facility…. Bed was terribly hard and uncomfortable…this pad seems to be much more comfortable for him… it was a little short in length but he didn't need the padding down by his feet. I have to say it didn't have that weird smell to it either when I opened it…. Definitely needs a day to fluff up though.
