Underground radio DJ Mike Z (Ryan Eggold - The Black List) is a New York tastemaker who helps break bands into the mainstream, but with his station folding, he becomes a social media staple by letting rip with a little truth. One night while making fun of a fading pop star April Simon (Jennifer Damiano), he gets the surprise call of his life; her! Turns out she is a fan of the show which leads to an unlikely romance, but when her career starts to heat up again; can their relationship survive in the day and age of celebrity and social media?
