Avia Women's Air Athletic Sneakers, (Wide Width Available)

I wore these sneakers for 3 days while doing a move and they have been comfortable. The heel gives you a spring in your step. I'm flat footed and they do not squeeze or rub my feet. I wear women's 9.5 in Nike so I knew, these are true to size, and I picked the right size, 9.5. The toe area is a bit firm so you cannot see your toes wiggle. This is great in the event you stump your toe. You will not directly feel it. The grip is great! They are light weight and I plan to have the all grey and all white in the future. Absolutely no regrets.

Let me start by saying I have never worn Avia shoes before so I was going into this totally blind. WOW, I tend to not wear sneakers because they always rub on the back of my ankles which gives me blisters. It doesn't matter what size they are or what sock I am wearing, it happens every single time. Well, these shoes did NOT do that. They are so comfortable. When you slide your feet in they are a little stiff, but after maybe five minutes your feet sink in and then they are perfectly comfortable. This seems to happen every single time I put them on as if they puff back up and then conform again with the next wear. I wore these for several hours and never had any pain in my feet. I typically wear anywhere between size 9 and 10. I got the 9.5 in these and they are a little big, however I am not sure if the 9 would have fit or not. These are also SUPER white. Like WHITE WHITE. My husband teased me when I put them on that they were hurting his eyes. HA! The ONLY small thing that I would say is a negative is that they make me like 2 inches taller. I am 5'5'' so that is not too bad, but my husband is 5'7'' so I feel weird being the same height as him. So, if you don't want to add to your height, you may not like these.
