The Aquasana Shower Filter System features a two-stage up-flow filter design which combines coconut shell carbon and a KDF copper/zinc oxidation process. This unique design maintains water pressure (2.5 GPM flow rate), prevents clogging, increases contact time with media, and also enhances the taste and smell of your water. The benefits let you enjoy healthy, clean water while you shower, giving you softer, more moisturized skin and shinier, healthier hair.
Aquasana's shower filter lasts for 10,000 gallons or up to 6 months of shower use before needing replacement. Easily install this showerhead on any standard ½” shower arm. This product includes a shower filter that is intended to be used with an existing shower head.
Use only genuine Aquasana replacements. Untested replacements are not certified for performance capacity or contaminant removal. This system will NOT reduce Total Dissolved Solids (TDS).
Independently tested to NSF/ANSI Standard 177 to reduce over 90% of chlorine in hard water.

The installation process was a bit tricky but overall the filter is great! With the filter my skin feels and looks great. My acne has began to clear up and my hair doesn't feel dry and frizzy since I started using this shower filter.I really like that it's every 6 months to replace the filter most filters it's every 3 months.

Eliminates Chlorine
We have been using Aquasana shower filters for years. They're excellent at removing chemicals and impurities in our water. Turn on one ourvfaucets that doesn't have an Aquasana filter andvthecwater has a very heavy chlorine bleach smell. Before buying this super easy to install Aquasana shower filter, after showering our eyes would burn and be red the next morning. These filters totally eliminated that issue and no more chlorine odor. Great filters. The best on the market. Highly recommended.
