after qashing twice, these dudt mite protectors become so soft that I stopped using pillow cases. The price point allows me to change out the pillowcase every night so that I'm always putting my face on a clean pillowcase. Love these and so do my extended family who all use them, too.

Exactly suits its purpose

Purchased as an extra layer over my down pillow to prevent the feather tips from poking through the pillowcase. It has also helped with cutting down on the tickling and sneezing throughout the night from the goose dander as it has a very tight weave and secure zipper. Not the softest on your skin, but it is meant to be allergen protection layer between pillow and case. Excellent product.

Are these a little bit more than the mainstay, yes but to be honest they are softer to the touch. I use the mainstay pillow protector to waterproof the pillows to keep them lasting longer and these on top for the softness. Am I overdoing it a bit maybe hahaha. Everyone knows how fast pillows can go out, especially with kiddos. colds, allergies, sweat etc. Allergies are a lot less and I can wash the 1st protector before I have to wash the second one.
