Moultrie All-In-One II Feeder Kit With Bluetooth Control and 360-Degree Feed Coverage

My original unit died after laying sideways for a year and getting water inside. I replaced it with this Bluetooth unit and am happy with it so far (1 month). The quick lock design took only 30 seconds to swap out the old unit for the new. The new unit takes 8 batteries, instead of 4 like the original, probably to help power the Bluetooth function. I figured it would suck batteries like crazy with that feature, but so far, so good. Time will tell if it gets decent battery life. I was hoping you would have the option to turn off the Bluetooth, but you don't. It claims to have a range of 100 yards. I can't confirm or deny that claim, but I did connect to it from a blind 45 yards away and it worked as it should. you can still manually enter your time and feeds, but you get more options when logging in with Bluetooth, such as having different feed times for different days of the week. The unit doesn't throw corn super far, you need one of the bigger 6V units for that, but I felt it was adequate so no complaints in that regard.
